Job Summary
Perform PM maintenance and repair of plant equipment, machinery, and tooling including mold preparation, pre-production, and production tooling and fixture fabrication. Tasks include PM maintenance on molds, equipment, and facilities, working with subcontractors, analyzing maintenance failures, maintaining a clean work environment, and ensuring EMS/QMS procedures are followed. The role requires strong mechanical skills, leadership abilities, and a foundational understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Basic understanding of electrical / electronic machinery, controls
- Skilled in computer usage including Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic knowledge of electrical and motor controls
- Experience with maintenance management software
- Basic knowledge of mold cleaning, mold change out & setup of parameters
- Basic experience in manufacturing maintenance (hydraulics, pneumatics and fabrication)
- Knowledge of using dry ice blasting machines, sand blasting cabinets
- Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel and twist
- Must be able to lift/move 25 lbs. regularly; may occasionally lift/move up to 100 lbs. but only with assistance from team members or mechanical equipment
- Must be able to use small hand tools
