Job Summary
Operate mainline hoe equipment for underground utility rehabilitation and replacement projects in Edmonton, installing pipes near existing residential and commercial infrastructure. Collaborate with pipe crews to ensure high safety standards, effective communication, and quality work while adhering to excavation and trenching legislation. Lower materials using proper rigging mechanisms and conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance. Maintain strong production and professional conduct with honesty and integrity throughout the role.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Mainline Excavator Operator
- Underground utility rehabilitation / replacement experience
- Exceptionally safety conscious
- Able to work independently and follow instruction from the superintendent / foreman
- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS 2015
- Ground Disturbance Level 2
