Job Summary
Mainframe Programmer Analyst role focused on interacting with business users, DBAs, and system administrators to gather requirements and develop designs. Responsibilities include analyzing existing systems, creating design documentation, unit testing and debugging programs, and supporting end users during project phases. The role requires strong COBOL, DB2, and JCL skills, along with the ability to reverse engineer code and drive projects independently to completion.
Required Qualifications
- 3-4 years' experience working with Control M, TSO, File Manager, and Fault Analyzer.
- 8+ years' experience with DB2, JCL, COBOL, CICS, ChangeMan and Easytrieve
- Proficient with the SDLC
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Displays professionalism at all times
- Ability to drive projects to completion with minimal direction
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Healthcare, Human Services, or a related business preferable
