Job Summary
Design high-level and detailed application designs for mainframe systems by translating functional requirements into robust technical solutions using PL/I, JCL, DB2, SQL, and CICS. Collaborate with application owners, business analysts, testers, and operations teams to support development efforts while ensuring alignment with Agile delivery practices and global collaboration standards. Apply domain expertise in Capital Markets and Investment Banking to drive critical initiatives, demonstrating strong analytical thinking and the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and methodologies within an 8–10 year experience level.
Required Qualifications
- 8–10 Years Experience
- Strong expertise across PL/I, JCL, DB2, SQL, and CICS
- Strong knowledge of Mainframe Concepts: PL/I, JCL, DB2, SQL, CICS
- Proven experience in Application Design within development projects
- Hands‐on experience creating HLDs and LLDs
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Strong analytical and conceptual understanding of complex systems
- Ability to work effectively in a global, cross‐functional team
