Job Summary
Install, upgrade, and customize IBM and ISV tools across z/OS mainframe systems while providing usage support to Application Development, Infrastructure, IT Operations, and Production Support teams. Participate in 24x7 rotational on-call support for incident resolution, actively monitor system status to prevent issues, and independently resolve tickets ensuring SLA compliance. Actively participate in Disaster Recovery exercises to maintain readiness and support incident and problem management processes for escalated issues. Contribute to knowledge base updates, train new analysts, and ensure alignment with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience working in Mainframe (z/OS) environments
- Hands-on experience installing, upgrading, and customizing ISV tools
- Experience supporting SA/390 automation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in L3 support environments
- Familiarity with DR processes, system monitoring, and hardware configuration
- Ability to work in rotational 24x7 on-call support
- Bachelor of Technology/Engineering degree
