Job Summary
Develop integration programs between the legacy Buildings Information System (BIS) and new systems, including planning, design, build, unit testing, and break/fix activities. Deploy interfaces and provide support at go-live while collaborating with other vendors procured by the City. Requires 12+ months duration, remote location, and 12 years of technical application experience. Minimum 8 years in Natural 4/ADABAS, JCL, and TSO environments are mandatory. The client manages highly complex enterprise applications with aggressive timetables.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in a technical and/or business applications
- Experience with large-scale highly technical legacy integration projects
- Minimum of 8 years Natural 4/ADABAS mainframe programming experience in both batch and real-time environments
- Minimum of 8 years writing JCL code
- Minimum of 8 years working in the TSO environment
- Experience in a broker ENTIREX environment
- Experience in data conversion and data normalization protocols
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Access
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with the department's DOB NOW system
- Experience with client Buildings Information System (BIS) and its Java web portal BISWeb
- Experience with Software AG's middleware products - WebMethods
- Experience with use of Business Intelligence tools for reporting and analysis
- Experience with large scale, complex technology-oriented projects
- Experience with business process analysis, including requirements gathering and development of functional and technical specifications
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
