Job Summary
Hands-on Team Leader for a busy M&S franchise store in Edinburgh, responsible for leading colleagues on shift, coaching and developing staff, delivering excellent customer service, and driving store performance. You will oversee daily operations including replenishment, merchandising, stock availability, housekeeping, and compliance with health and safety and food safety procedures, while supporting recruitment, onboarding, and managing performance conversations to build a customer-focused team. You should be confident taking ownership of store standards, driving promotional activity, contributing to achieving sales targets, and role-modeling strong communication, organization, and problem-solving in a fast-paced retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail leadership or supervisory role
- Experience supervising, leading or coaching a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
