Main PACU Registered Nurse

Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care through outcome identification and evidence-based practice. Administer, monitor, and document therapeutic interventions while effectively managing rapidly changing situations. Coordinate patient care by communicating and collaborating extensively with healthcare team members, patients, and families. Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, care needs, wellness, and safety issues. Delegate and monitor care rendered by other team members, participate in clinical decision-making, and contribute to performance improvement activities. Maintain professional ethics and departmental competencies. Requires valid NJ RN license, ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications. Shift is 11a-8:30p, two days a week, with on-call for weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
