Job Summary
Greeting guests and escorting them to tables; managing reservations and waitlists to ensure smooth flow; coordinating special requests and accommodations; presenting menus and dining information; maintaining cleanliness and organization of dining areas and hosts; replenishing dining room supplies; assisting with beverage prep and expediting orders; processing payments; collaborating with servers, kitchen staff, and management to deliver excellent service; adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
Required Qualifications
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner and escort them to their tables
- Manage dining reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements
- Coordinate special requests and guest accommodations
- Provide menus and communicate restaurant information to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining room areas, host stands, serving stations, and tables
- Monitor and replenish dining room supplies
- Assist with beverage preparation and expedite food orders when necessary
- Process guest payments accurately and efficiently
- Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to provide excellent customer service
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
