Job Summary
Operate machines that automatically address, weigh, and tie publications for mailing according to zip code. Review manufacturing instructions to determine publication type and size, then adjust guides, rollers, and weighing machines using hand tools. Record production data and machine downtime, while processing and shipping outgoing small parcels via UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Perform minor clerical tasks, maintain equipment through cleaning and lubrication, and identify improper machine operation for basic adjustments. Work the C Shift (Sat-Mon, 5AM-5PM) at a rate of $15.31 per hour with a $1.75 shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with routine operating procedures of equipment which can be set up and operated following a few step by step instructions
- Skill to operate the equipment
- Ability to identify if improper machine operation and make basic adjustments
- Skill to perform minor clerical tasks incidental to the operation of the equipment
- Skill to perform routine maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating the equipment
- C Shift - 12 hour Shift - Sat-Mon, 5AM-5PM
