Job Summary
Temporary on-call Mail Service Courier in Fleet Operations, Saskatoon. Load and unload postal vehicles, collect, sort and deliver mail, operate portable communications devices, perform vehicle safety checks, complete documentation and records, and communicate with customers. Must have a Class 3 or D driver’s licence with the appropriate air brake endorsements, a safe driving record, and the ability to lift up to 50 lb; must be available on short notice. Preferred experience in customer service and professional delivery driving. Opportunities for permanent employment.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Class 3/D driver’s licence (or higher) with the appropriate provincial air brake endorsements
- A safe driving record for at least 3 years (recent driver’s abstract or a commercial driver’s abstract dated within the last 30 days)
- The physical ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb)
- The availability to work on short notice
