Job Summary

Investigative Support Analyst provides task-specific investigative support to designated criminal and civil investigations in the Inspection Service field division offices. Responsibilities include analyzing business records, tracing proceeds of illegal activity to prepare cash-flow analyses, performing wealth analyses, and presenting findings in reports and presentations in non-technical terminology. Conducts data research using the Internet and public databases, identifies analytical techniques during investigations, and assists in developing civil and/or criminal cases for presentation to the appropriate prosecution authority. Requires proficiency with the Microsoft suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro, i2, and financial analytical software; knowledge of FinCEN and Anti Money Laundering processes; ability to work independently and produce final analytical work products. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and extensive investigative experience in complex financial investigations, as well as ability to research social media activity and prepare comprehensive investigative reports. The role may involve occasional non-standard hours and weekend support; U.S. citizenship or legal permanent residency and favorable background check are expected, along with security-background requirements and residency criteria. Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’ Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years investigative experience planning, conducting and participating in complex financial investigations with a minimum of five (5) years specialized experience in areas such as mail fraud, money laundering, organized crime, forfeiture or similar area of criminal activity.
