Job Summary
Route messages, documents, and packages to business concerns or governmental agencies. Sort or open incoming and outgoing mail, meter outgoing mail, and obtain receipts for delivered articles while maintaining logs of received and delivered items. Update mail logs and government systems, and scan large multi-page documents. Perform other duties as assigned. This full-time role supports the mission of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services at a local Field Office. Applicants must obtain a Public Trust/Suitability Clearance and possess the ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust/Suitability Clearance under the Department of Homeland Security from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services
- Ability to read and understand proficiently in English
- Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs. or more in a physical environment
- Ability to perform tasks while bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching
Additional Requirements
- Must obtain a Public Trust/Suitability Clearance under the Department of Homeland Security
