Job Summary
PRN MRI Technologist to operate MR equipment in acute care settings, including inpatient, outpatient, Emergency Department and operating room procedures. Requires ARRT (R)(MR) or MR certification (registered within 6 months of hire), an associate degree (preferred), and minimum one year MR experience. Provides diagnostic MRI scans with strong communication and attention to detail in a collaborative acute care team; placement in Salisbury, NC.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT (R)(MR) or (MR) certification (registered within 6 months of hire)
- Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred
- Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program, required
- Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in MR, preferred
- Licensure/Certification: Minimum of one year of experience in MR, required
- Applicable state license, required
- Refer to Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement
- NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility - Certified and Registered within 6 Months of hire in ARRT RT(R)(MR), required
- Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR), required
- Thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment, Analytical ability and basic computer skills
- Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs
- Good communication skills
