Job Summary

Operate an MRI scanner to obtain diagnostic images of pathologies by preparing and positioning patients, selecting technical parameters, and administering contrast media within scope. Perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, education, and data entry while ensuring high-quality image submission to PACS with correct lead markers. Monitor equipment function, report malfunctions, and maintain a clean, orderly department including procedure rooms and storage areas. Submit high-quality images and documents to PACS with correct lead markers and patient data/history. Ensure equipment is properly functioning and report potential problems or equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel. Maintain a constant state of alertness and safe manner. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of a MRI or Radiology Technology program
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
  • ARRT-MR Magnetic Resonance Imaging - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
