Job Summary
Magnetic Particle Level 2 Technician responsible for performing magnetic particle testing of parts and materials, setting up and calibrating test equipment, documenting results, and handling materials with monorail cranes and forklifts. Responsibilities include unpacking/repackaging materials, ensuring compliance with specifications, monitoring calibration, analyzing results with supervisors/level technicians, maintaining work areas, and adhering to QA programs and safety rules. Must be detail-oriented, safety-minded, and capable of working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment at the Hatfield, PA location.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must meet citizenship eligibility required by accrediting bodies (US Person per ITAR)
- Ability to lift 50 to 75 pounds
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a team
- Able to pass an annual eye examination and related testing (visual acuity)
- Ability to follow specifications, maintain calibration and document results
- Willingness to work Monday through Thursday schedule and handle test equipment
- Must be able to operate test equipment and maintain safety/QA programs
