Macro & FI Research Assistant Vice President

Junior Analyst (EMEA-focused) supports the Research Leader in developing industry coverage, contributing to industry/corporate reports, risk/return analysis of corporates, and coordinate with global CRSD teams. Responsibilities include assisting in drawing up research strategy for a specific industry, supporting the bank’s marketing efforts to identify potential customers and transactions, conducting data gathering/analysis (including regression) to explore sector opportunities, preparing internal and external presentations, liaising with EMEA branches and Tokyo, attending industry events to build knowledge, and contributing to monthly Credit Monitoring through watch lists and monitoring of sector exposure. The role emphasizes collaboration with senior staff, enhancement of insights through technology adoption (AI and alternative data), and delivering multiple industry reports while supporting strategic objectives and client engagement across global locations. Qualifications emphasize a degree from a top institution, finance-related knowledge, financial analysis and modelling capabilities, strong interpersonal skills, and language skills as a plus.
