Job Summary
Machinist role focusing on planning materials and operation sequences, setting up and operating milling/turning/grinding machines to produce precision parts, inspecting parts to specification, and maintaining documentation in ERP. Responsibilities include planning materials and methods, selecting feeds and speeds, setting up tooling, interpreting blueprints, performing inspections for non-conformities, data entry in ERP, assembling parts when required, and maintaining 5S workplace practices; requires 2–6 years in machining, experience with milling/turning/grinding, setup/operation of machine tools, blueprint reading, and proficiency with machinist tools and Windows-based ERP systems.
Required Qualifications
- Two to six years relevant experience
- Experience with milling, turning or grinding
- Experience setting up and operating machine tools
- Intermediate ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and specifications
- Proficient in the use of machinist hand tools and measuring tools
