Job Summary
CNC Machinist Trainee responsible for machine setups, G & M Code editing, CAM-assisted program development, and fixturing design to produce machined parts per prints. Requires reading blueprints, editing CNC programs, and maintaining quality standards within a production environment. Daily duties include setup/teardown of machine tools, loading/unloading parts, operating specific machines to produce close-tolerance parts, and using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height/depth gauges). Strong manual dexterity, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential; post-secondary CNC education is preferred and ability to pass pre-employment checks is required. Work schedule is Monday–Friday with varying early/late hours; locations in Ponca City, OK. Safety PPE and physical requirements apply.
Required Qualifications
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Age 18 or older
- Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to edit CNC programs
