Job Summary
Conduct milling, turning, drilling, tapping, sawing, and hand layout of components while mounting tooling in rack turrets or magazines and securing fixtures. Load and unload components into appropriate fixtures, adjust tolerances and finish requirements to meet specifications, and run additional equipment as assigned. Provide daily maintenance of the equipment, keep work areas clean of debris and fluids, and assist coworkers as needed. Follow work instructions detailing tooling, programming, and offset requirements, and install programming to confirm part numbers and revision levels. Requires experience with manual NC and/or CNC machining, metric measurement, and reading part drawings. First shift opportunity in Middleton, WI, with a pay rate of $24-$27/hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with manual NC and/or CNC machining equipment and operations
- Experience using metric measurement
- Knowledge of machine shop practices and techniques machine operation and tooling
- Ability to read understand and work from part drawings and specifications
- Use a variety of precision measuring instruments
- Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 40 pounds frequently 75 pounds occasionally
- Ability to frequently stand and/or walk occasionally reach with hands and arms and bed
- First shift availability
