Job Summary
Program and operate CNC machines to manufacture precision parts according to engineering blueprints and specifications. Set up machine tools by selecting cutting tools, fixtures, and attachments, then perform precision measuring and inspection using calipers and micrometers to ensure quality compliance. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime, while deburring and finishing parts to meet surface requirements. Collaborate with engineers and quality control teams to resolve machining issues and maintain accurate production records.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience PROGRAMMING and operating CNC machines in a manufacturing or machine shop environment
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and machining instructions
- Proficiency in precision measuring techniques and use of measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Knowledge of machine tool setup, operation, and maintenance

Desired Qualifications
- Certification in machining or CNC operation from a recognized technical institution
