Job Summary
Operate machine shop equipment including lathes, mills, and grinders to machine various materials and fabricate complex parts with precision. Follow specifications from verbal instructions, drawings, and blueprints while utilizing precision measuring instruments and selecting cutting tools for efficiency. Work with sheet metal and tubing using hand and power-driven machines, and suggest design changes to improve productivity. Maintain knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and provide necessary reports. Perform additional duties as assigned. This role supports a client in Mars PA with a 1st shift schedule from 7am to 3:30pm, M-F.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to make Edits to G & M Codes
- Two to four years related experience or equivalent
- Knowledge of proper use of measuring tools/gauges and cutting tools
- Understanding of blueprints and routers
- Excellent communication and basic math skills
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
