Job Summary
Set up, operate, and maintain machine tools including lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce parts to specification. Calculate dimensions and tolerances while inspecting components using precision instruments, and interpret blueprints to determine machining sequences. Program and troubleshoot CNC equipment, diagnosing mechanical issues, and monitor performance to adjust feeds, speeds, and tooling for quality and efficiency. Perform layout, fitting, assembly, and finishing of metal components, including deburring. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and support new tooling. Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and environmental regulations. First and second shift availability required; high school diploma and two years of machining experience necessary.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of machining experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet Explorer, and ERP systems
- Technical aptitude, with the ability to understand complex technical concepts and specialized information
- Commitment to safety, with the ability to recognize and address potential hazards
