Job Summary
Operate CNC milling and turning machines to produce precision components, loading parts, setting fixtures, and verifying alignment per setup sheets. Use calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges to inspect parts, while establishing work offsets, adjusting speeds and feeds, and editing G-code for process optimization. Read blueprints including GD&T symbols, troubleshoot surface finish and tool wear issues, and maintain machine cleanliness and safety protocols. Collaborate with lead machinists, engineers, and quality inspectors to ensure part accuracy. This trainable, tiered position offers growth from entry-level operators to experienced precision grinders based on performance and skill development.
Required Qualifications
