Program and operate CNC lathes and Deep Hole Boring Machines using Fanuc controls, setting up tooling and fixtures to achieve tight tolerances on exotic alloys like Inconel. Write, edit, and troubleshoot G-code/M-code programs while optimizing cutting parameters for efficiency and tool life. Perform first-off inspections and in-process checks using precision instruments, maintain job sheets and logs, and conduct daily preventive maintenance on equipment. Reduce scrap rates and optimize cycle times while adhering to ISO standards and safety protocols. Work independently across shifts to produce intricate parts within production time.
