Job Summary
Operate and program CNC equipment to produce precision parts, setting up machines from blueprints and executing operations like cutting, drilling, and reaming to meet quality and lean-improvement targets. Adjust feeds and speeds, inspect parts using gauges and SPC, and maintain equipment while participating in continuous improvement initiatives. Work Sunday through Thursday on the third shift (10:15 pm–6:15 am) with a paid lunch break. Requires minimum five years of CNC experience with lathes and mills, familiarity with Okuma, Nakamura, and Haas machines, and ability to read blueprints and follow safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of CNC experience with lathes and mills
- CNC must be on your resume
- Experience with Okuma, Nakamura, and Haas machines
- familiarity with 5-axis and turret machines
- Able to read and follow blueprints and specifications
- working knowledge of machine shop mathematics
- Experience operating multiple production machines
- performing inspections to specification
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- ability to work in a team
- contract to hire onsite role
- 3rd shift (Sunday–Thursday, 10:15 pm–6:15 am)
