Job Summary
Machinist needed to operate CNC lathe/mill, set up tooling and fixtures, and follow process sheets and blueprints. Responsibilities include installing/re-cutting chuck jaws, performing machine set ups, adjusting programs, loading/unloading parts, and inspecting own work to meet tight tolerances and documentation standards. May supervise others' work, operate multiple machines, and enter data into ERP. Requires reading English work instructions/blueprints, high school education or equivalent, and 2+ years of relevant experience. Compensation ranges from $23.00 to $30.00 per hour, with benefits and a 4,000 sign-on bonus. Internal applicants to apply via company career site.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years related machinist experience
- High school education or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and blueprints in English
- Proficiency operating CNC lathe and/or CNC mill or resistance spot welder (any two machines)
- Willingness to pass a Machinist test measuring mechanical aptitude
