Job Summary
Machinist position requiring senior knowledge of machine shop methodologies; operates manual machine tools to fabricate/manufacture parts, reads blueprints/design sketches, selects cutting tools and measuring equipment, inspects units for defects, and maintains safe, clean work area. Must have five+ years of Machinist experience, high school diploma or equivalent, and strong mechanical, accuracy, and teamwork skills; hourly pay range $30-$35 with 7AM-3PM shift.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or formal training equivalency
- Five years’ + experience as a Machinist
- Ability to read blueprints and plans
- Ability to operate manual machine tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to traverse facilities and machinery by climbing, balancing, lifting, walking, stooping, and carrying materials
