Job Summary
Execute diverse machinist tasks using applied mathematics to calculate dimensions, lay out work, and set up machine tools for linear accelerators, hot cells, and medical isotope targets. Operate CAD/CAM software like Mastercam, write and interpret G-code, and leverage expertise in machining stainless steel, aluminum, copper, and steel while maintaining tools and troubleshooting processes. Ensure quality and safety of equipment and processes through precision measurements with micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
