Job Summary
Set up and run existing jobs on vertical and horizontal CNC milling equipment, performing machining operations to minimize costs while producing precision parts within tolerances. Operate multiple machine tools simultaneously, interpret technical drawings, and validate setups through inspections of component features and tooling life. Process work by deburring, cleaning, and preparing machined parts, while performing preventative maintenance and cleanup of all equipment in the work center. Complete this full-time role in Warminster with a focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork to maximize productivity.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Prior experience with machine tools and equipment
- Mechanical or technical background
- Professional knowledge of safety protocols
- 3 years+ operating CNC and set up of machines
- Programming in NC Code
- Strong sense in MFG design and work-holding
- Thorough understanding of machine tooling and utilization
- Excellent knowledge of material properties
- Must be reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic
- Attentive to detail
- Capable of handling multiple tasks
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Must successfully complete and pass a drug test
- Must successfully complete and pass a background check
Desired Qualifications
- Vo-tech, MFG trade school or equivalent
- Horizontal machining experience
- Experience with both vertical and horizontal machining centers
