Job Summary
Machinist / Machine Setup Operator needed at Reliable Equipment MFG Co. in Warminster to set up and run CNC milling on vertical and horizontal machining centers, interpret drawings, and ensure parts meet prints within tolerances. Responsibilities include process optimization to minimize costs and time, operating multiple machine tools, documenting production, validating first articles and tooling life, performing deburring and cleaning, conducting preventive maintenance, and performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications require a high school diploma (Vo-tech or related preferred), 3+ years of CNC setup/operations experience, NC code programming, safety protocol knowledge, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. This is a full-time, safety-sensitive role with a competitive benefits package; candidates must pass drug and background checks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (Vo-tech, MFG trade school or equivalent preferred)
- Prior experience with machine tools and equipment
- Mechanical or technical background
- Professional knowledge of safety protocols
- 3 years+ operating CNC and set up of machines.
- Horizontal machining experience is preferred.
- Strong communication skills
- Programming in NC Code
- Strong sense in MFG design and work-holding
- Thorough understanding of machine tooling and utilization
- Excellent knowledge of material properties
- Must be reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Attentive to detail
- Capable of handling multiple tasks
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
