Job Summary
Operate various machines including CNC, lathes, milling machines, and grinders under the guidance of the department supervisor. Follow documented process books for machine-specific setup and execute manufacturing of components according to provided processes. Gage parts using hand gauges such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and go/no-go gauges. Requires 2+ years of machining experience, ability to read orders, process drawings, and understand mechanical and mathematical skills. Must be eligible for security clearance and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Position offers a starting wage of $28.47, increasing to $32.78 after 1040 hours, with shift differentials of 7% for the 2nd shift and 14% for the 3rd shift.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ Years machining experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read orders and work instructions
- Must be able to read and understand processes and process drawings
- Must have mechanical skills
- Must have mathematical skills
- Must be able to lift up to and including 50 lbs.
- Must be able to bend and lift
- Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of assembly experience preferred
- Material Handling experience preferred
