Job Summary
Conduct immersive hands-on training in a dedicated cell using equipment mirroring the main production floor. Receive personalized guidance from dedicated instructors while developing foundational skills in machining principles, print reading, and precision measurement. Operate within a safe, controlled environment designed to build confidence before transitioning to active production operations. Complete the 8-week program with a 40-hour weekly schedule, starting October at $25/hour. After successful completion, pursue full-time employment on various shifts with competitive hourly rates and shift differentials.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED or equivalent
- 18 years of age or older
- Legally authorized to work in the US
- Pass background check and drug screen
- Training/work location is at GE Vernova Bangor
