Job Summary

Manufactures detailed parts from blueprints; sets up, operates, and maintains CNC milling and turning centers according to complex blueprints and specifications; retrieves job-related information, selects appropriate cutting tools and work holding, and documents manufactured quantities in ERP; performs precise measurements and inspections to ensure parts meet stringent quality standards; participates in continuous improvement to optimize machining efficiency; may assist engineers in developing new machining methods and tooling; on-site role with medium-to-high complexity unproven and proven parts; emphasizes safety and clean work environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 6-8 years of relevant experience
  • High school degree or equivalent plus advanced training
  • Technical Skills: attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of customer specifications and requirements
  • Basic computer skills
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Ability to use calipers, micrometers, etc.
  • Mastery of basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions)
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Understand and obey safety requirements
  • Commitment to keep work area clean and free of debris
  • Capable of standing for long periods
  • Physical requirements including lifting up to 50lbs
