Job Summary
Set up and operate large CNC saws to produce quality production hardware while performing all machinist-level functions. Inspect work, detect defects, and recognize errors in blueprints and operation sheets using shop measuring instruments for in-process monitoring. Meet production time standards and apply practical shop mathematics to perform block checks on NC or CNC machines. Assist less skilled employees and support logistics tasks including receiving, stock pulling, and shipping. Requires three years of machining experience and certification in the Certified Operator Program and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Required Qualifications
- 3 years or more of machining experience
- Blueprint reading
- Basic computer skills
- Must be trained and certified in the elements of the Certified Operator Program and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Must be available for 1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm)
- Onsite work schedule in Torrance, CA
- This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information
