Machinist II - Cylindrical Grind - 1st Shift

Operate cylindrical grinders, lappers, and cranes to semi and finish grind ODs on rotors, shafts, and ring gears. Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment to ensure dimensions, radii, and finishes meet specifications, then deburr and clean chips. Maintain a safe, efficient work area by monitoring coolant, filling out paperwork, and correcting machine difficulties immediately. Work independently with minimal direction to produce quality parts within established standards. Requires physical ability to lift, walk between machines, and adjust settings per drawing instructions.
