Job Summary
Operate and set up CNC machines and precision metal-cutting equipment (lathes, milling machines, drills, grinders) to produce components to exact specifications. Follow operation procedures from engineering drawings, blueprints, and verbal instructions; measure dimensions with micrometers, vernier calipers, hole gauges, and telescopic gauges; manufacture prototype products and testing equipment; maintain tools and perform routine maintenance; conduct quality assurance checks meeting ISO and company quality standards; maintain documentation and timekeeping records; interpret drawings and apply print-reading knowledge; follow safety policies and shop standards; log machine issues and ensure smooth shift handovers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two plus years of related work experience
- CNC machining class work or certificate preferred
- Valid Driver’s License with good driving record required
- Journeyman Machinist Ticket preferred
