Job Summary
Machinists (Levels I–IV) needed to support production of precision components for high-performance magnetic solutions. Responsibilities include operating and setting up manual and CNC equipment (lathes, mills, grinders, Wire EDM), reading blueprints and GD&T, inspecting parts with precision tools to ensure tolerance, adjusting machine settings and offsets, and monitoring performance. Higher levels may involve programming CNC and EDM equipment, running complex setups, mentoring, and providing training support. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining principles
- Experience with manual or CNC machining
- Ability to read technical drawings and apply GD&T
- Skill using measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and indicators
- Shop math proficiency (geometry, trig)
- Understanding of feeds, speeds, materials, and tooling
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM or CNC program editing is helpful
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
