Job Summary
Machinist I-III at Daniels Manufacturing Corporation (DMC) will set up, program, and operate a variety of machining equipment across Grinder (Surface & Cylindrical), Prototrak Mill (conversational CNC), CNC Mill, and CNC Lathe roles. Responsibilities include dressing and truing grinding wheels, inspecting parts with micrometers and gauges, interpreting blueprints and GD&T, running first articles, selecting tooling, troubleshooting programs, and maintaining production documentation. Candidates should have 1–2+ years of machining experience with G and M code programming for CNC Mill/Lathe, familiarity with Fanuc/Milltronics/Okuma controls, and the ability to read blueprints to meet tight tolerances on hardened materials. Required Qualifications
- 1 to 2 or more years of machining experience
- Experience with Grinding, Prototrak Milling (conversational), CNC Milling, or CNC Lathe
- Working knowledge of G and M code programming (required for CNC Mill and CNC Lathe roles)
- Experience with Prototrak conversational controls preferred for milling; Fanuc, Milltronics, or Okuma preferred for CNC roles
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
