Machinist I - C

Install, modify, move, troubleshoot, repair, and dismantle machinery according to blueprints and drawings. Construct foundations, align equipment using hoists and tools, and perform operational tests to ensure technical specifications are met. Fabricate metal parts for prototypes and program PLCs. Machine precision parts using lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders, while measuring and testing units to detect defects. Requires vocational training or equivalent experience, mathematical skills, and physical stamina to lift up to 45 pounds. This Safety-Sensitive role involves working inside and outside with exposure to changing climates, potentially including long shifts and outside normal business hours.
