Job Summary
Perform set-ups and run parts on a CNC lathe with milling capabilities to close tolerances, fine finishes, and complex geometry. Inspect all work by setting up or adjusting gaging equipment, detecting unusual conditions, and recognizing errors in blueprints and operation sheets. Interpret complex drawings, including GD&T blueprints, sketches, and operation sheets. This role supports major production programs such as F-35, MQ-25, and FLRAA within the Military Aircraft Group. Candidates must submit applications between July 20, 2026, and September 11, 2026, and are eligible for a $3,500 sign-on bonus subject to agreement terms.
Required Qualifications
- demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English
- demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- At least 1 year experience as a general machinist OR Graduation from a formal manufacturing, machining, or CNC certification/training program
- Demonstrated ability to follow an escalation path as it applied to machining
- Familiarity using various measuring equipment, including but not limited to, Micrometers and Dial Bore Gauges
- Competency in reading and interpreting blueprints and written work instructions
