Job Summary
Machinist position available for 1st and 2nd shifts in a gas turbine repair facility. Responsibilities include performing machining operations, reading technical drawings, operating manual and CNC machines, and maintaining a safe work environment. Entry-level qualifications required.
Required Qualifications
- Basic understanding and experienced in machining for milling and turning operations
- Basic understanding and experienced in operating band saws, sanders, pedestal grinders, etc.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.)
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating 3-axis and 5-axis CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers
- Experience with MasterCAM software
- Experience with CNC machine programming
