As an entry-level CNC Machinist, you will operate manual and CNC machine tools to produce high-quality workpieces, ensuring precise tolerances and inspecting finished products for quality. You'll read blueprints, set up machinery, select cutting tools, and conduct inspections, making adjustments as necessary to maintain production standards. This role provides opportunities for growth in a supportive work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency with CNC, blueprints, lathe, and grinder
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong mechanical and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and good math skills
- Proficient with operating a computer and internal software
- Efficient and excellent time management skills
- Ability to operate various types of machine tools for progressive machining
- Ability to read blueprints and plans
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of CNC experience, including mills and lathes
- 3+ years of manufacturing/shop experience
- Experience with Geometric Dimension & Tolerance
