Job Summary
Senior Machinist to operate CNC multi-axis/machining centers (including 5-axis setups) and assemble sub-units using blueprints and CAD drawings. Responsibilities include editing CNC programs, fabricating fixtures, proving out part conversions, reading CMM inspection reports, and ensuring parts meet drawings and tolerances. Requires a 2-year degree or certificate and 5+ years of CNC machining experience with 5-axis setups; strong GD&T and CAD drawing interpretation (SolidWorks) skills; ability to read drawings, communicate effectively, and perform preventive maintenance. Second shift, 2:30pm–1:00am; physical lifting up to 50 lbs; US work authorization.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year degree or certificate in a related field
- 5+ years of experience in CNC machining
- Experience setting up and running 5-Axis machining centers
- Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret Solidworks Drawings or other CAD Drawings
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Position requires physical lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods
- Unrestricted work authorization for US
