Machinist position at Amphenol TCS involves operating machinery for precision parts production, creating Prototrak programs, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with precision machining equipment
- Familiarity with machining a variety of materials such as aluminum, tool steel, stainless steel, copper, and other alloys
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of tolerances
- Ability to read and interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- High School Diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- 2-year Machine Tool degree or certificate preferred
- Programming experience using Prototrak conversational controls
- Experience using solid modeling tools (Creo, SolidWorks, etc.)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to self-start and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment
