Machinist, 3rd shift (Temp to Hire)

Machinist on 3rd shift at Baxter in Batesville, IN. Responsibilities include setting up and operating a wide range of machinery (single and multi-spindle screw machines, lathes, machine centers, tube benders, press brakes, laser, tube cutter, mechanical presses, turret press, shear, saws) and related operations (drill presses, sander, tumbler). Must mount/adjust cutting tools, set feeds and speeds, troubleshoot programs, perform quality checks, document production data, and assist with scheduling and material handling. Emphasis on tool selection, tooling adjustments, process adherence to drawings, SPC, and safety. Requires a High School Diploma or GED and the ability to pass a Machine Setup Test; tow motor license may be required. Compensation includes a pay rate of $24.12 per hour plus shift differential; the role is temporary with potential for hire.
