Job Summary
Manual and CNC Machinist to operate horizontal and vertical milling/boring machines and lathes in a manufacturing environment. Set up and operate manual and CNC milling machines, boring mills, and lathes; machine parts to tight tolerances (as close as 0.0002”); read blueprints and specifications; use precision measuring tools; perform minor CNC program edits (G/M codes); select speeds, feeds, cutting tools, and work holding methods; design jigs and fixtures to support machining; operate forklifts and overhead cranes; verify documentation and maintain production records; maintain a clean, safe work area; participate in safety training. Shifts include 2nd and 3rd with training on 1st; location Lebanon, PA; compensation negotiable based on experience. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience reading blueprints and using precision measuring equipment
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Familiarity with CNC machining including G and M code editing (programming not required)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
