Job Summary
Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes, including tooling, fixturing, and offsets. Create, modify, or troubleshoot CNC programs using CAM software or G-code. Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications. Perform first article inspections and adjust programs as needed using micrometers and calipers. Optimize machining parameters for quality, efficiency, and tool life. Conduct in process and final inspections using precision measuring tools. Document machining data and collaborate with Engineering and Quality. 3D Printing experience, a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years related machining experience
- Read and interpret imperial and metric engineering drawings
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a machine shop setting
- 3D Printing experience is a plus
