Job Summary
Machinist on 2nd shift responsible for setting up and operating machines (lathes, mills, grinders), reading blueprints/drawings, measuring parts with precision tools, making adjustments to ensure quality, accuracy and efficiency, performing routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting, following safety and production standards, and collaborating with engineers and fellow machinists.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in machining is preferred but not required
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret drawings
- Proficiency with measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
