Job Summary
Machinist on 2nd shift operating CNC Vertical Machining Center and CNC Horizontal Boring Mill to produce precision parts for Pharmaceutical, Nuclear and Paper Industries. Set up and operate CNC machines with Fanuc controls; program and edit programs at the machine; select tooling; machine, deburr, and inspect parts to drawing specifications. Read drawings with GD&T; work with materials such as stainless, carbon, aluminum, and exotic metals (forgings, bar stock, castings, plate or weldments). Maintain cleanliness and organization in a collaborative team environment; adapt to 2nd shift (4pm-2am) with potential overtime on Fri/Sat. Physical capabilities include repetitive wrist/hand movements, standing/walking/bending, and lifting 25-50 pounds daily. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of machinist experience
- Strong drawing reading skills and GD&T understanding
- Experience with CNC machines (Fanuc controls)
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Ability to operate overhead cranes
- Able to pass physical assessment
- Able to lift 25-50 pounds daily
- Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
- Team player with good time management
